Permaculture & Mycology
El Zopilote was founded in 2002 as an organic and ecological farm. After Cristiano attended a permaculture design course at Bona Fide organized by Michael Judd, the project fully embraced permaculture and became a living example of a sustainable permaculture farm-hostel. Today, El Zopilote stands as a success story that promotes a green economy and offers countless permaculture examples across the land.
In 2018, Cristiano started a new venture: a mushroom farm producing organic Reishi and Oyster mushrooms. The project includes a fully equipped laboratory, a greenhouse, and a team of skilled workers dedicated to cultivating high-quality mushrooms.
