Join the Practical Permaculture School at El Zopilote and immerse yourself in the daily workings of a tropical permaculture farm. This program combines hands-on experience with a solid understanding of permaculture ethics and design principles, offering a unique opportunity to learn by doing.

What You Will Learn
During your stay, you’ll participate in a variety of activities, including:

  • Composting, soil improvement, and organic gardening

  • Natural building techniques and small constructions

  • Water management systems, swales, and irrigation

  • Growing and using medicinal plants and tropical vegetables

  • Food forests, plant guilds, and companion planting

  • Understanding permaculture ethics and design principles in practical contexts

Program Details

  • Duration: 4 hours per day (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Includes: Vegetarian lunch

Cost

  • 370 C$ per day

  • 1790 C$ per week (5 days)

  • 6230 C$ per month (4 weeks)

Certificate
Participants completing 5 days or 4 weeks will receive a Certificate of Participation.
